Membership is on an annual basis and starts when the member activates their account online at thewhiskylounge.com/members.
It is the responsibility of the member to use their free tasting vouchers within his/her 1 year membership period. These will not be useable outside of the 12 month membership period.
Tasting vouchers are valid for any £20 tasting event during the 1 year membership period. If the member would like to use the voucher for a more expensive tasting, a supplement will be chargeable which will be the difference between the voucher’s value (£20) and the cost of the tasting.
Festival vouchers are valid for any single session of any TWL Festival during the 1 year membership period. They entitle the member to entry to the event and all applicable benefits of general entry. This does not include masterclasses, ‘Under the Counter Drams’ or other special events during the festival, unless advertised.
Vouchers are only for the use of the member.
When using one of his/her free vouchers, the member must book onto a tasting 14 days prior to the event taking place. The must book into a festival 28 days prior to the event.
Free tasting and festival vouchers are not refundable and have no cash value.
Where a member has booked onto a tasting or festival, and can no longer make the date, we may transfer his/her booking at our discretion dependent on availability.
10% discount is only for the use of the member. The member can buy tickets for friends and family using his/her membership but must not allow others to use his/her membership. Any member found to be allowing others to log in and/or purchase items or events through the website will have their membership privileges revoked until further notice.
10% discount does not include items already discounted or Early-Bird tickets. It does not include any whisky trips except at The Whisky Lounge’s discretion.
Members must conduct themselves with decorum at all events. We reserve the right to strip a member of his/her privileges due to errant behaviour.
