Medium pronunciation with Peanut butter mingling nicely with coconut and vanilla custard…
Palate
Clings softly with nice warmth on the tongue, a little linier flavour-wise but the “usual suspects” from bourbon casks are all in attendance. Vanilla with light spices and soft notes of iced pastries. Persistence will bring subtle mango, melon and heather.

Nose
Fruit forward with tropical mango and grapefruit. Then a more Raspberry in vanilla cream inflection and a good old “foam Banana” hit!
Palate
Light cling with plenty of flavour building from the fruity nose to introduce more in the way of sweet spice, dustings of cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and ginger wrap those fruits up nicely into a warm package.
Finish
Short to medium length with reminders of cream and spice.
Overveiw
Well, this is getting a little monotonous now.
When are these people going to give me something to whinge about!
Once again, we have solid, uncomplicated, great value whisky from the team at Elixir. And long may it continue!
Now, a this point I usually say “Go and try some, prove me wrong!” (or words to that effect).
Today I can say..
If you’re going to Yorkshire Whisky Festival on Saturday, TRY SOME! PROVE ME WRONG!
Cheers For popping in Loungers!
See you soon.
