Manchester, thank you! What an awesome time was had by all last weekend, we can’t wait to see you next year! But before that, we have the prospect of both Nottingham and York Whisky Festivals to look forward to before the end of the year!

Macallan Grinds!


Macallan has revealed the second edition of its Harmony Collection, which celebrates the world of coffee. Those will be eye openers!


Manchester Founders!


TheSpirit of Manchester Distillery has launched its first ever members' club to give experimental drinkers and whisky enthusiasts the chance to follow the journey of the City's first single malt English whisky. Cool.


New Kilchoman!


Kilchoman have unveiled the first whisky in their new Casado series, celebrating the power of Portuguese wine cask maturation.


Whiskey for Kings!


American rock band Kings of Leon have partnered with Kentucky-based Willett Distillery to launch a limited edition Bourbon and rye whiskey collection. Interesting….


Limited Dingle!


Dingle Distillery have announced Dingle Samhain Single Malt Whiskey, the first release in a brand-new series of limited-edition whiskeys in their Wheel of the Year series.


Stagg is Back!


Buffalo Trace Distillery have released their 2022 Antique Collection, including Stagg. Nice!


Lochlea Sherry!


Lochlea have announced the launch of their newest expression, a Sherry cask whiskey dubbed the 'Fallow Edition.' Set to drop on November 3, the limited edition whiskey will be added to the brand's premium season line-up, where it will be offered alongside Harvest Edition and Sowing Edition. Nice.


Plans for Portavadie!


A planning application has been submitted for a new Scotch whisky distillery at Portavadie on the Cowal Peninsula in Argyll and Bute. Exciting times!


Aston Bowmore 22


Bowmore have collaborated with Aston Martin once more, to unveil the second release of its Masters’ Selection series: a 22-year-old single malt.


Ahascragh Zero


Ahascragh Distillery is on target to become the first zero-emission distillery in Ireland, backed by a €500,000 grant.


Ad Gefrin First!


England’s northernmost distillery, Ad Gefrin, has unveiled its debut blended whisky – Tácnbora. Can’t wait to try this!


Triple ‘Romach!


Benromach have launched a new small batch single malt, 'Benromach Triple Distilled', into its 'Contrasts' range.


Balvenie 60!


Balvenie have announced the launch of a single-cask bottling to celebrate its malt master David C. Stewart's 60th anniversary with the distillery. Congratulations, Sir!


And Finally….


My mission to “learn” more about cocktails was going swimmingly last night. This morning, it stalled somewhat…. OUCH!
