Since The Whisky Lounge was created in 2008, we’ve grown from 1 festival and 15 tastings in York, to 10 festivals and more than 200 tastings in 9 cities across the UK. Thank you to all our past and present exhibitors for making this possible.

OUR MISSION IS TO TURN EVERYONE ON TO WHISKY AND THAT IS AT THE HEART OF EVERYTHING WE DO.

Our ultimate goal is to turn everyone on to whisky. We do that by creating entertaining, educational and exciting events that encourage people to develop and nurture their own interest in, and knowledge of, the ‘Water of Life’. We break down barriers and unlock myths and legends while promoting and maintaining the traditions and heritage of the world’s favourite spirit.

The Whisky Lounge acts as a forum to bring together both whisky novices and enthusiasts with both well-established and new-to-market brands. More than 14,000 visitors attended our festivals in 2019.

We consider ourselves unique in the world of whisky festivals; over 65% of our visitors are new to whisky events, so we really are turning people on to whisky. Our exhibitor packages and visitor ticket prices are set to ensure our events are accessible, affordable and inclusive for all. This means we attract the most diverse visitors of any whisky event in the UK.
