Ripon-based independent bottler Claxton’s have launched 6 new single cask whiskies under the ‘CLAXTON’S SUMMER 2019 RELEASE’ banner. Intriguing…

  • Double Macallan!

There’s not one, but 2 new Macallan on the market! The “Fine and Rare 1979” 40 year old, and “Edition No.5”. Plenty of choice for the Macallan fans there!

  • Cask Strength ‘Dronach

Details of the new Glendronach Cask Strength Batch 8 are with us! And it sounds great, I like me some ‘Dronach!

  • 4 decades from ‘Rothes!

Glenrothes are due to release their first 40-year-old next month, priced at £2,900. It’d be nice to try it next to the Macallan…(a boy can dream etc…)

  • Irish trading in South Africa…

Regardless of what happens with Brexit, there will be zero tariffs on Irish Whiskey being sent to Southern African Customs Union and Mozambique. Good news.
