Asian Whisky Tasting Pack
We all know and love Scotch whiskies, but what about other, far-flung areas of the world? Do they make good whisky elsewhere?
The short answer is yes!
For this tasting pack we are focussing on whiskies from Asia, which is a real hotbed of quality whisky-making activity. The 6 whiskies are from Amrut, from Bangalore, India, Kavalan from Taiwan and two single malts from Nikka in Japan – Miyagikyo and Yoichi.
We believe (from experience) that these whiskies are top notch and we want you to taste them too! And now, with this Asian Whisky Tasting Pack, you can do so, from the comfort of your own home.
Don’t forget you can share your thoughts on the whiskies on Twitter and tag us in using @TheWhiskyLounge
Each pack contains printed info on the whiskies and – of course – a sample of the whiskies themselves. On an evening of your choosing, you simply pour yourself the whiskies, read through the notes, perhaps a bit of online dabbling and include us and the relevant hashtag for any Tweeting you might choose to do. Simples!
Each pack contains a 20ml sample of each whisky.
We will be broadcasting ‘taste-a-long’ at home, live video in the coming days and weeks. Don’t worry if you cannot make the live stream as these will then become a permanent fixture on our FB page and new website. Our Facebook page can be found here;
During this challenging time, we have decided that for every tasting pack purchased through our website, we will donate £5 to a nominated charity supporting workers in the drinks and hospitality trade. For the Asian Whisky Tasting pack we are working with Speciality Brands, who will nominate their chosen charity. As soon as we have that information, it will appear here.
ABOUT OUR TASTING PACKS
We understand that for whatever reason you may not be able to be at one of our tastings on the dates we set. However, we also understand that this can cause great anxiety and stress as all of these tastings are generally unmissable! Well now there is no excuse to miss any whisky tasting action with our ‘mail-order tasting packs’.
